The NMDC Studio is not a broadcast facility. We are content creators first and foremost. This means that we strive to make engaging videos for your commercial, cinematic, musical, or political needs. Not being a broadcast faclity means that we have no legacy equipment, transmission towers, or other overhead added to the cost of your production. Our equipment is of the latest generation cameras, lighting, and hardware; in fact,most of our cameras don't even use tape but instead use sophisticated memory cards that can record at very high data rates and at broadcast HD quality (not to be confused with consumer cameras that use SD cards - these cards can cost more than the best consumer HD cameras alone!).

Another issue that often arises when planning shooting costs is equipment rental. Nothing beats starting production except "Sorry, we forgot the tell you the lens we rented for this shoot is $500 per day and it won't be here for a week." We own our equipment, perioid. If there is something we need to rent, you'll be advised ahead of time if it is really necessary (do you realy The software that we employ is used to create the most current and sophisticated productions that you see in movies or on TV. But shouldn't that drive up the cost? Like so many things in society the increased sophistication in software and similar tools can increase efficiency in post production when utilized by trained specialists. Labor is still the number one cost driver in creating content and using the best tools (software or hardware) keeps your costs down.
